On March 8th, International Women's Day is celebrated!
Last year, at our women-dominated bakery, we decided to do something good for vulnerable women together with our wonderful customers. We contacted Vaasan Ensi- ja Turvakoti Ry, a shelter home for women and kids, to see how we could help. It turned out that we could offer a glimmer of hope in the everyday lives of their clients.
This initiative was highly appreciated by our customers, the staff at the shelter, and especially by the clients themselves! So this year, we have decided to make the same effort again.
We donate gift cards to Vaasan Ensi- ja Turvakoti Ry to give their clients the opportunity to treat themselves to a break from their situation. For every customer who makes a purchase with us on Women's Day, we will donate €0.50 to the gift card fund.
